CT2V Custom Saddle Rack Series

Join Country Tough Trail Versatility for the 2022 series! There are 5 competitions with each competition having ribbons and prizes. For the series, you will need to compete in 3 of the 5 competitions.

The winners of the Youth, Green Horn, Wrangler, Maverick, Bronc Buster, and Trail Boss divisions will receive a custom wooden saddle rack made by David Von Holten. The reserve champions will win a custom bridle holder that wall mounts once again made by David Von Holten.

The champion and reserve champion of the Foundations I & II divisions will both win a custom bridle holder that wall mounts.

The dates for the CT2V Series are:
April 9-10
May 21-22
June 25-26
July 16-17
August 13-14

In order to qualify for the 5th Annual CT2V National Championship is Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2022.

A new handbook will be available by December 10, 2021 with the new patterns. All rules are the same except the eligibility for the Futurity Division at the National Championship.

There are two mini clinics the day before each competition priced at $40 each. Session 1 is from 12-2, Session 2 is from 2:15-4:15. You need to sign up in advance. 660-668-0880 or countrytough@yahoo.com

Exploratory Horse Camp

Jun 27 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Exploratory Horse Camp: June 6, 13, 20, 27: $50 per day per child

Open to mature 4-year-old up to 14 year olds. Can sign up for every exploratory class or any combination. Each day will have a different learning project.

Each day consists of grooming, leading, and riding the horses and mules.

Service project (examples): cleaning a few stalls, stacking firewood, winding water hoses, organizing the horse barns, picking up the arena (30-45 minutes or less)

Lunch: Bring a sack lunch and drinks

Learning project (examples): martial arts, kickboxing, painting, line dancing, archery, shooting a pellet rifle, nature walking

Creek time: Bring a second set of clothes and a towel. Swimming shoes or old sneaker are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Flip Flops are not recommended.

Mounted Police Clinic/Equine Confidence Clinic & Mounted Self Defense

Open to anyone to participate in, not only mounted police officers.

$425 per participant, $300 non refundable deposit (deposit is refundable if clinic is filled with paying customers. Full is considered 15 participants. If your spot can be filled after 15 paying participants is reached, then your deposit will be refunded)

Friday 9am-5pm
Saturday 2pm-10pm
Sunday 9am-5pm

Police and Mounted Police Officers are eligible for 30 CEU for their participation in this clinic.

Auditors are $50 per day or a three day pass is $125.

Bill Richey, the founder and CEO of National Mounted Police Services, Inc. is a POST certified mounted police instructor. He was instrumental in creating the mounted units for the city of Duluth, also in Forsyth and Gilmer Counties (Georgia) and training their officers and horses. He worked with Atlanta Police Mounted Unit in preparation for the 1996 Olympics and was also involved in reorganizing the unit. He was the chief instructor for Mobile Mounted Police Mardi Gras School. Mr. Richey has participated in and won or placed in every national mounted police competition he has entered. He has over 30 years experience as a mounted police officer or mounted police trainer, and almost as many as civilian trainer/ instructor. He has spent countless hours training officers and civilians from all over North America, the Middle east and South America, as well as their mounts, to perform safely and professionally, from the trail, to the movies, to the show ring and to Mardi Gras
