Leroy Van Dyke and The Auctioneers will have a grassroots concert in Leroy’s childhood stomping grounds. Less than 10 miles away is where Leroy was born, grew up, and went to school. Von Holten Ranch is located on a family owned farm that has been in the same family since 1906. The Von Holten’s and the Van Dyke’s have been neighbors for over 100 years!
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased either at Von Holten Ranch in advance or online at www.vonholtenranch.com under the Country Tough Mercantile tab.
If it is not raining, the concert will be in the outdoor venue at Von Holten Ranch. If it is raining, the concert will be under the covered arena.

Leroy and The Auctioneers will begin at 6pm, preshow entertainment starts at 5:30pm with local musician Matthew Cozart from Odessa, MO.
Von Holten Ranch has ample parking, a heated and air conditioned guest shower house with restrooms, and is also bringing in handicapped accessible portable toilets.
Concessions will also be available!
Von Holten Ranch also has shirts, cups, koozies, caps, silicone bracelets, leatherwork, children’s books written by Brandy Von Holten, and MO made ice cream for sale.
The concert is on Saturday, October 19, 2019 which is part of the 2nd Annual CT2V National Championship (CT2V=Country Tough Trail Versatility), which is a three day event. Come early on the 19th and watch the competitors compete in Ranch Horsemanship and a super fun event called Cowboy Roulette. In Cowboy Roulette, the competitors do not know what they have entered until the event calls for entries to show up and then the event is explained. The winner takes half of the entry fee!

This clinic will focus on the correct way to introduce your equine to obstacles. We will focus on the approach, the obstacle, the departure, and the correct time to release pressure. Outdoor obstacles and arena obstacles will be used.
For the safety of our trail guests and their equine, Von Holten Ranch will be closed. Thank you for your consideration. We will reopen November 27, 2019.
Von Holten Ranch had a magical golden feathered turkey. It is so magical that each of the 24 feathers that were lost on the trails and only able to be found on November 30th are EACH WORTH DIFFERENT PRIZES…..some money, some tack, and some are worth a culinary treat!.
Simple potluck on Saturday night in the HEATED wedding venue! Bring finger foods, dips, and healthy treats so everyone’s waistline can stop expanding from Thanksgiving!

Come try Country Tough Trail Versatility / CT2V!
You will compete in actual trail, obstacles without points for speed, and a versatility pattern. We will have everyone do RH1 for this competition.
Now, here’s the fun part! In addition to winning versatility ribbons, each competitor that completes the three events will be given a ticket with a number. We will have a huge reveal of the prizes that correspond with the numbers! Here’s the fun part….some prizes are gag gifts are some are LEGIT gifts! There will be at least one $50 gift certificate amongst the prizes.
Bundle up and bring out those fuzzy ponies!
This event is not part of a series, and is just a stand alone competition. However, this will go towards qualifying for the national championship scheduled for October 9-11, 2020

We will go over the rules, scoring, and tips to perform your very best. When you leave this clinic you will understand scoring and have a game plan to succeed in CT2V in 2020!
