Blazing your own way in the equine industry as a young female professional has many challenges, but not for Lauren McCain.
By the age of 23, Lauren has already proved herself to be an asset in the equine industry. She was invited on to the National Country Tough Trail Versatility (CT2V) Board in 2019. Lauren demonstrated such a high level of fairness in judging, that she was selected to judge the 2019 and 2020 CT2V National Championship.
2019 also was another pivotal point in this young professional’s career as she co-taught her first horsemanship clinic. Lauren was able to help lead her clinic participants to victory in the show arena. She is now scheduled to teach a clinic in her second state, Iowa, early Fall 2020.
The Missouri Horse Expo selected Lauren as their “Rising Star” presenter. Lauren left the audience with a refreshed sense of “I can do this” and “it is okay to not be perfect”. She by far was one of the most relatable presenters at the Missouri Horse Expo.
Lauren McCain has high hopes of having a mule breeding operation ran in conjunction with a boarding barn. She purchased her first standing jack named Mac and has four confirmed foals due in Spring 2021. Lauren’s equine business called Lauren’s Graceful Equines, LLC was launched in 2019. In addition to breeding services, Lauren is also a horse and mule trainer. She specializes in obstacle introduction, general horsemanship, and trail readiness.
Keep an eye on this rising star! Her resume is quickly adding some huge feats that are undeniable large accomplishments!
Now, not for one second do I want you to think Lauren is your standard cookie cutter cowgirl. The last time she removed her sweat stricken cowboy hat, a short purple strand of hair showed itself above her contagious smile. Lauren McCain is strong, independent, and a breath of fresh air to the equine industry!
