With people traveling to Von Holten Ranch from all over US, it is important to us that you have a vehicle that is has proper maintenance and some safety in mind while traveling.
Make sure you have:
a spare and know how to get the spare out
jack, lug wrench
maybe a screw driver to take the cap off over the lug nuts
good tires
DEF, if applicable
don't let fuel be too low because we are 20 minutes from town
map
current coggins
let us know when you expect to arrive and a phone number
Brandy Von Holten started a magazine called Country Tough Times and has articles included from a diesel mechanic and from the sheriff. They have articles about caring for your diesel and about decreasing vehicle vandalism, respectfully.
*You will not have any problems once you arrive with vandalism. That is for traveling and stopping in areas you don't know.
By being prepared, karma will make sure you won't need any of those prepping materials. Just like bringing an umbrella assures that it won't rain.
